Alex was born and raised in northwest Tennessee. He has a degree in Worship and Pastoral Leadership from Boyce College. He has been serving in full-time ministry since 2016. His greatest aims are to love others and see them grow in their walk with the Lord Jesus Christ. Alex and his wife Ali have been married since 2017 and have a daughter, Elliot, and a son, Shepherd. Alex enjoys watching and playing sports, reading and running.

Jared is a Tennessee Volunteer born and raised in Nashville. He attended the University of Tennessee Knoxville for a degree in Sports Management. He then attended New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary where he earned a Master of Arts in Christian Education. Jared also met his wife Jessica at seminary and they have been married since March 2023. Jared loves board games, movies, watching and playing sports, reading and eating.

Dani was born in Illinois but also lived in Wisconsin and California before settling in Indiana. She accepted Christ as Savior at age 7 and has a bachelor’s degree from University of Wisconsin-Platteville. Dani and her husband Bryan have called Northside home since February 2017 and have 4 children: Jubilee, Boaz, Phoebe and Aquila.

Barbara oversees all ministry items related to communication and the office. Prior to joining our staff she was a web developer for 14 years. Barbara was born and raised in Indianapolis and accepted Christ as savior at the age of five. She and her husband, Bob, have four children and eleven grandchildren.

​Jan provides valuable support in the office. She and her late husband, John, joined Northside in February of 1970. She was born and raised in Knoxville, Tennessee where she lived until marrying John in 1968. She has one daughter and a grandson. Jan  hosts a Life Group for women and serves on the Women’s Ministry team. 

Phyllis was born an Air Force “brat” in Fort Worth, Texas.  She accepted Christ when she was 12 years old. Her job with the Defense Finance & Accounting Service brought her to Indianapolis where she retired after 38 years of government service. One of her greatest blessings was when she married Larry, blending their family of 2 sons, 1 daughter and 3 grandsons.  She loves to travel and spend precious time with family and friends.  

Darrell oversees the buildings and grounds at Northside. He graduated from ITT Tech, Ivy Tech and Decker College of Construction. In his spiritual journey, he has attended various denominational Bible colleges and has been involved in evangelism, youth, single adult, men's and benevolence ministries. He was born in Indiana and was raised in both Tennessee and Indiana. He is married to Ruthie who is from Indonesia. Together they enjoy camping, biking, hiking, shooting and anything outdoors. He is also a "car guy" and can be seen at custom car and motorcycle events.

Dennis is a long-time Southern Baptist who accepted Christ in 1978. He has served in the lay ministry in the areas of teaching, preaching, evangelism, and discipleship. He and his wife, Kathy, came to Northside in 2009. He has served as a deacon, life group leader, personnel team chairman, jail ministry volunteer, church treasurer, and food pantry counselor. He and Kathy are blessed with two children and four grandchildren.

Mike and his wife, Connie, came to Northside in 2014. He served on the Vision Planning Team and has taught Cross Training, led a Life Group and currently teaches the Beacons Class. He’s a regular at the Tuesday morning Men’s Prayer Breakfast, the Upper Room Prayer team, Wednesday evening Bible study and other gatherings for fellowship at Northside.

Jim was invited to come to Northside in 1985 as a guest of his wife to be, Vicki. He accepted Christ as savior shortly thereafter. He has served on various committees, Personnel, Ministry Placement, Building and Grounds . He has also been engaged as a leader in Student Ministry, Chairman of a Pastor Search Committee, Chairman of the Personnel Team and a small group leader. He and Vicki have been married since 1986 and have two wonderful sons and five grandchildren.
