Prayer Ministry

STAFF PRAYER MEETING
Northside’s staff sets aside a time each week to pray for the needs of the congregation. Prayer requests are submitted by members each Sunday morning on the Connect Card or by contacting the church office. The staff also prays for any requests submitted through this website.


SUNDAY MORNING WORSHIP AT 10:30
During the Sunday morning worship service, the entire congregation participates in a time of prayer. This is a time to unite as a body and petition God concerning the needs of our church and its members.


WEEKLY PRAYER GUIDE

Our Prayer Team prepares a list of suggested ways you can pray for Northside’s ministry and its people. This is distributed via email and is available in print on Sunday mornings. Submit a prayer request.


UPPER ROOM PRAYER

During the service each Sunday, two or three gather in the Prayer Room to pray for the church. A different team prays each week. If you’d like to participate, let us know on the Connect Card or contact the office.


MEN’S COFFEE, FELLOWSHIP AND PRAYER

Join the men of Northside on the first and third Tuesday each month for Coffee, Fellowship and Prayer. You may bring a bagged breakfast to enjoy during the fellowship. The group meets at 7:30 AM in the Fireside Room.

Matthew 9:35-38

 Jesus continued going around to all the towns and villages, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the good news of the kingdom, and healing every[n] disease and every sickness. When he saw the crowds, he felt compassion for them, because they were distressed and dejected, like sheep without a shepherd. Then he said to his disciples, “The harvest is abundant, but the workers are few. Therefore, pray to the Lord of the harvest to send out workers into his harvest.”
